The Grade II Listed Farmhouse, built of local stone, is over 400 years old and has plenty of quirky original features. This is a great family house, ideal for multi generational get togethers. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and comfortably sleeps ten (plus travel cots) in five bedrooms – on the first floor there is a double bedroom with king size bed, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and a separate shower; on the second floor there is one double bedroom (king size bed) with en-suite bathroom and a spacious semi divided twin bedroom.
The large farmhouse kitchen has an electric Aga, original flagstone floor and a large kitchen table which can seat up to 12; there is a cosy sitting room with a wood burner, a separate playroom/family room, laundry/utility room, downstairs shower room and an old creamery which works well as a larder/wine store and provides excellent storage space. The property also benefits from a spacious terrace and a very large private, fully enclosed, lawned walled garden which is ideal for large families and pets – great for football, cricket, rugby and just relaxing! There is outdoor seating, a barbecue; parking is available on site for at least three cars.
